04 · THE PATTERN OF MIXTURE
Temperament
MizājA classical description of the pattern produced when qualities and components interact.
What the term means.
Mizāj is not simply mood or personality. In Unani theory, it describes the resultant qualitative pattern of a person, organ, substance, or state. Classical categories often use warm, cool, moist, and dry in varying combinations and degrees.
How it connects
to the whole.
- 01Temperament emerges from mixture rather than a single trait.
- 02Humour names historically became associated with temperament patterns.
- 03Daily habits do not prove or medically correct a temperament.
Useful context.
Clear limits.
CoreVital uses temperament as a changeable reflection lens. Results can overlap, and a different result later may reflect season, routine, circumstances, or a different understanding of oneself.
This page explains a historical Unani concept. It is not a diagnostic tool, treatment recommendation, biological measurement, or substitute for care from a qualified healthcare professional.
